Experimental Theater, NTCH
Through the collision, stacking-up, support, addition, deduction and displacement of bodies, five choreographers experiment with the various forms and variations of the bones. Attempts are made in terms of the body’s physical structure and configuration to look for more possibilities and greater creativity.
Three years in a row, the “thematic essay” choreographic model is adopted. This year’s new test question for HORSE – Bones. As the title suggests, this dance piece explores the body’s surface and then goes deep to the bones. The dancers experiment with their physical structure and pattern in search of more possibilities and choreographic creativity. This year, these five choreographers take a collective look at Bones, asking – if the bones support the body, what is the bone that supports our life? The indispensable experience from life’s events and a code of conduct are the bones, which support our life – albeit vulnerable – in striving forward.
